Harbor Terrace has two types of apartments: studios and one bedroom suites. All
apartments have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes providing the private space and convenience one
would need. The beautifully appointed common areas and gardens provide the opportunities one desires
for making new friends and joining in on the variety of educational and recreational programs. Those
wishing for solitude might like to take advantage of our library or one of our parlors located on
each floor. For intimate family gatherings, our fireside lounge will suit you well. From a clean and
fresh environment, to delicious and healthy meals, to a caring, supportive staff, you will find

Our residents take great pride in their home. They are involved in many aspects of life here at
Harbor Terrace. Our people tend the garden, in which they grow tomatoes, lettuce, various herbs,
and a variety of fragrant flowers and plants. They participate in planning meals by providing the
chef with their own favorite recipes for all to enjoy. Mail is distributed by our experienced
resident volunteers. All our new residents are greeted, shown around the facility and introduced
to others by their very own host /hostess who are an established Harbor Terrace resident. Our folks
also help facilitate programs and provide community services. They are involved because they choose
to be involved. This is their home and they want Harbor Terrace to be a reflection of themselves
and their life's experiences.

Nutrition
Dining at Harbor Terrace is truly an enjoyable experience. Our dining room is attractive and
inviting. We provide a tasty variety from meal to meal and our food is always attractively served.
Guests are always welcomed.

Recreation
Harbor Terrace boasts the best and most complete program in the South Bay. We have two activity
directors who oversee and encourage everyone to participate. No matter what your interests or
hobbies, we have something for everyone. There are educational classes, entertainment, excursions
and even individualized programming.
As indicated by our Event Calendar, we provide a daily menu of fitness and
wellness activities with our resident's interest in mind. We regularly have guest speakers to
enlighten and educate for the benefit of our guests and families. Everyone is welcome.

Resident Care
We are fully staffed and ready to help 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff has been thoroughly
screened, trained and is eager to serve. Our caregivers respond swiftly to each person's needs. We
are able to monitor, manage and distribute all medications, including the special needs of diabetics.
We provide flexible and quality care necessary to assure that our residents are comfortable and
secure.

Transportation
Our transportation service permits our guests to go shopping, banking while maintaining those
important medical appointments. Instead of a bus or van, our guests travel in the comfort and
safety of our spacious Cadillac Sedans. The transportation is a complimentary service, which
includes all of the South Bay area and Long Beach.
Should special trips or excursions outside our service area be desired, just
contact our receptionist and we will be happy to arrange transportation for a small fee.

Housekeeping
We know this is an extremely important amenity. A daily cleaning and straightening is afforded each
resident. Once a week every room is thoroughly deep-cleaned. Linen service is also provided.

Hair Salon
Our hair salon is a full service salon with a fully licensed hair specialist. Open to both men and
women the salon performs everything from simple shampoos and sets to complete perms. In addition,
we have a manicurist that will provide manicures and pedicures.

Respite Care
This service offered by Harbor Terrace is a wonderful way for potential full-time guests to
experience our amenities and services on a short-term basis. We can provide a nice opportunity for
the family to have a break from the rigors of care giving, yet be assured of the high quality of
service in a caring environment.
